Designed by Kevin Atherton in 1986 from coloured glass, the 'Cathedral Window' measures 15ft high by 10ft wide, suspended high in the woods near Speech House Hotel and Beechenhurst Lodge and Cafe. Visitors flock to see this each year and other sculptutes along the trail.
Painting in watercolour I depicted this window on a recycled green tea herbal teabag and continue to produce this design to sell within Beechenhurst Cafe itself. A very detailed drawing that I thoroughly enjoy repeating and very challenging.
One customer purchased this as a gift for her son, because he proposed to his girlfriend underneath it - very special.
